You can listen to the course from beginning to end which will take you about a half an hour, or you can use the repeat function on your CD player or iPod to repeat and master each word as you like, at your own pace. Research has shown repetition and practice are critical when learning a new language, so do it as feels right for you.

When using your new vocabulary to communicate like a caveman, don't be shy about partnering your keywords with facial expressions, hand gestures and body language to get your point across. But keep in mind, the mannerisms that we hold as fundamental in the United States may not be universal. For instance, in parts of Africa, it is not the nod of your head that signifies "yes" but rather a lift of the eyebrows. In parts of Mexico, the hand gesture we use to convey "OK" has been used to show support for a particular politcal campaigns.
